Remote Access
LogMeIn offers a free version of their remote access software. The software needs to be downloaded onto the PC that you wish to access. The PC must be powered on and connected to the internet in order for you to gain access to it. As with most free software there are limitations. You would NOT be able to print any information that is held on the remote computer to a local printer. It is sufficient if you just want to access the files and programs on the remote computer.
GoToMyPC does not have a free version but does offer a free trial. It allows you to access your PC from any web browser in the World.
