Website
It’s really important that you have a website. This can be done really cheaply now. I used WordPress for my Virtual Assistant website. It’s a free piece of software to use and there are thousands of templates available to use for a website. Why not try setting up your website with WordPress?
In addition this is an invaluable skill to learn and once mastered it is a service you can offer within your business.

Costs Involved
Domain Name
You will need to purchase your website address, more commonly known as domain name. This will cost you around $12 per year. I recommend using Name Cheap which is the cheapest I have found.

Hosting
As well as buying a domain name you need to host your website on a server.
You can get a domain name and hosting from the same company but I have found it cheaper to buy the domain name separately and move it over to the hosting company.
The hosting company that I recommend is HostGator because they are reasonably priced, offer a great service and it will only take you one minute, yes one minute to set up WordPress via Fantastico.
If you only need to host one domain it will only cost you $4 per month.
