CV/Resume Service

A service that I recently started to offer was CV/Resume typing. I only offer the typing up of CVs as I don’t want to offer the writing of them.

One of the things you need to consider when offering this service is that you will need to meet with your client if the CV has been handwritten.

If you work from home you may not want people to visit your home and you would need to consider if you were insured for this.

If you want to go ahead with the service then having a good template to use will help speed up the typing of the Resume/CV.

I have also created 5 professional looking templates that use styles. Using styles in Word makes it extremely easy to customise the template. If you or your client prefers a particular font then you only have to update a small number of styles.

If you are not a formatting expert then these are ideal and you can start offering the service immediately. You can then give your clients a choice of templates.
