Before purchasing a PDF software product assess what you need to do. If you only need to convert a couple of documents to PDFs or join a number of documents then free software will suffice such as Pdf995 or PrimoPDF. Pdf995 offers three products Pdf995, PdfEdit995 and Signature995 and all are free to download. The free version will display a sponsor page each time you run the software. You can pay for the software and the sponsor page will not appear. I have used this software to create PDFs from multiple documents and it has worked well. The ads do get a bit annoying though. PrimoPDF claims to be free of ads. The free version only allows you to convert documents to PDFs.
If you want to convert PDFs to Word documents or create a PDF form then you will need to purchase PDF software. Nitro PDF claims that their product is as good as Adobe Acrobat. It’s an absolute steal then!
